MPERIA™ Overview
The MPERIA™ controller effectively manages messages and settings for multiple printers (even hundreds of printers) across one or multiple production lines or plant locations. The ability to seamlessly combine and manage multiple coding technologies, such as Valvejet, TIJ and Piezo in a single platform means technologies can be added, swapped and updated as production demands dictate, without the need to change the basic platform.
Continuous inkjet Coding (CIJ)
CIJ printing is fast and versatile and can print on most materials regardless of size, shape and texture. Matthews CIJ printers are easy to use, have proven reliability and superior design and are capable of matching the speeds of the fastest production lines.
With up to 4-line printing capability, and a variety of ink options, including pigmented inks, the C84+ is suitable for printing date codes, logos, and barcodes, example applications include date codes on aluminum cans, lot codes on blister packs, or barcodes on plastic pipe.
MPERIA™ (H.E) Harsh Environment
The MPERIA™ Harsh Environment (H.E) has the same capability as the MPERIA™ Standard, and offers a 15″ touch screen in an IP65 stainless steel enclosure making it suitable for harsh environments.
MPERIA VIAjet™ L-Series (Thermal Ink Jet)
The MPERIA VIAjet L-Series™ is a high-resolution thermal ink jet printer that prints variable data or simple text and graphics at unprecedented speeds. The system provides exceptional print resolution and versatility along with unparalleled levels of readability.
Ideal for printing on porous and non-porous materials, the VIAjet L-Series™ printheads perform in a range of challenging packaging and industrial environments, such as the coding of outer cases, cartons, coated and uncoated media, bags, timber, plastics, films and construction products.
MPERIA™ Standard
The MPERIA™v Standard has the capability to support all VIAjet™ printing technologies for simultaneous print control and is ideal for primary, secondary, and tertiary marking and coding. Upgrades allow for a virtually unlimited number of VIAjet™ devices and functionality.
MPERIA™ Lite
The MPERIA™ Lite is the most compact controller in the MPERIA™ product line. This 7″ controller manages one VIAjet™ printing technology. Upgrades are available allowing for expanding functions including the number of controlled devices.

Large character drop-on-demand valve marking system specifically designed for challenging industrial environments.
