A large UK pallet manufacturer needed a coding and marking solution for the application of company logos and product traceability codes.
Xact were able to offer a solution using the robust MPERIA™ VIAjet™ V-Series. The VIAjet™ V-Series was chosen for its dependable long-term performance and reliability in the most demanding environments. The V-Series is also perfect for the application of company logos, industry logos and product traceability codes.
The completed installation included an MPERIA™ 12” controller with 2 x 32v 8000+ Midi print heads. This delivered unrivalled flexibility including wireless Ethernet connectivity as standard. The system is operated remotely via the PC in the production office as well as the portable tablets used by their engineering team.
In addition to the power and flexibility of the MPERIA™ solution, the system significantly reduces operating costs in comparison to the branding process as well as increased productivity as there is no longer a requirement to stop the pallet for the identification process.
The solution provides consistent printing in variable operating temperatures and a dusty environment, as well as the facility to mark damp blocks.
