With decades of experience to draw on, there are few Coding & Marking applications we haven’t solved, so whether you require a standard or customised solution, rest assured Xact will deliver the desired results.

Maintenance and Service

All systems are fully supported by Xact’s own team of specialist Engineers and Technical Sales personnel. Their expertise ensures customers receive the highest levels of service, starting with the initial specification process through to installation and on-going support.

Xact recognise that high quality products should be backed by high quality and efficient after sales support. We also understand that reliability and minimal downtime is essential to the smooth running of your business, so all equipment undergoes rigorous testing prior to installation to ensure utmost peace of mind.

Working closely with your own technical staff, Xact have a strong technical team to ensure smooth integration of your equipment:

Internal: Technical Service Dept. based at our office, managing engineering support for in-house testing, installations, preventative maintenance plans, internal repairs and spares

Field: Highly trained specialist engineers and technical sales personnel based across the country offering expert advice and support

Quality assurance: ISO 9001 quality management accreditation and ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing plants. ISO 14001 accredited environmental management system

System performance and reliability, along with the associated print quality is assured by using the right consumables.

Our extensive range of inks and cleaners are manufactured to the highest quality with batch to batch consistency to ensure long-term trouble-free operation of your printing systems.

With spares available from stock and also carried by our Field Engineers, we aim to progress your requirements as efficiently as possible to minimise downtime.

What We Do

Xact Prepack is one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist packaging and marking equipment for the food industry, providing complete solutions including net packaging, checkweighers and metal detectors, inkjet marking and labelling systems.

Xact Prepack has established market leadership in the UK fruit and vegetable packaging market over the last 30 years with its range of Giro netting machines and consumables. Whilst these packs have been an established feature on the shelves of the UK’s major supermarket chains for some years, the company has recently introduced a number of new ranges which have developed its position still further within the UK food & beverage industry.

Xact Prepack’s range of products now includes checkweighers and metal detectors, customised print & apply label systems, inkjet coding and marking machines including high resolution piezo inkjet system for printing outer cases.

Xact are UK partners with Reisopack Strapping Technologies specialising in strapping machines for packing pallets and packaging equipment in the food and beverage sector.

Xact offers a range of laser marking systems to suit your coding & marking needs.

Our lasers are designed to fit a number of industrial and packaging applications, whether you need to mark in static or continuous mode, and onto a variety of materials, such as glass, plastic, paper, cardboard, foils, coated metals, and building materials. Laser coding doesn’t involve any inks or chemicals, making it a very clean, eco-friendly and cost-efficient method of marking your product.
